We’ve worked extensively with local authorities and housing associations to improve social housing and make homes better for people.

NJ Woodco can handle large-scale maintenance or refurbishment contracts, looking after or upgrading an authority’s entire housing stock, or we can undertake one-off projects for councils and social landlords.

We also work extensively with local authorities to manage their void properties – unoccupied homes which need to be returned to a lettable standard as quickly and economically as possible. We have developed and implemented fast track methods to consistently reduce the times these properties are empty, getting people housed as soon as possible and minimising loss of rental income.
